Who is Luna Lovegood

If you are a Harry Potter fan you know where this is going, if you are not one of Potter heads, don’t worry I got your back. This fictional character is the creation of J. K. Rowling in the book series of Harry Potter. She is an angel-like character who goes through many experiences and probably is one of those who saw the worst of the war which takes place in the Wizarding world and its consequences. But she never loses her spirit and beautiful smile. She is one of the most supportive friends Harry Potter could have asked for; she is the girl who lives life to the fullest and is not afraid of being judged by anyone on the basis of the parameters of society.

Hard times she faced

Now, in order to understand who, she is let’s go deeper into what has she gone through. She lost her mother when she was 9 due to an experiment. After that incident, she was raised by her father who is a journalist who writes only what is true in his monthly magazine. This trait is seen in her as she is straight with the facts. They both believe in magical creatures that the others believe do not exist, her strong belief in these makes her stand out, and many consider her insane. For the same she is often left alone, she still offers her help and genuine advice to anyone who she thinks needs it. This is visible in her fifth year of schooling in the magical school called Hogwarts. Luna had never been a close friend to Harry but when he did approach her once, she had extended a helping hand and helped him come out of the deep hole he had been sinking in. The entire magical world thought of Harry as a liar, but she had trust in her heart and had supported Harry to make an army that was trained to fight any evil. She was there strong and solid. Things were nowhere close to calm when the next year she gets kidnapped by the group of Baddies called Death eaters, who are basically the men of the main villain. She is tortured and kept in captivity until she is rescued, this was all because his father would not stop writing the truth about Harry which was all good. The same year the final battle between Harry and Voldemort (the typical power-greedy villain) was fought, and her part shows that even though this battle was not hers, she had not lost hope.

Don’t let your hard times make you weak

All the book-worm things aside, why am I telling you the story of someone who is non-existent in an impractical world? Well because she shares so many situations that we might be facing, loss of loved ones and being misunderstood by many in the surrounding. She is one of the most optimistic character in the entire Fiction even after all this. She is someone who still believes in good beings, things, and events. She doesn’t stop smiling and is kind to anyone who comes across. The key takeaway from this sweetheart is that situations can be bad but this does not have to end the goodness in you. Do not let anything destroy your happiness because true happiness comes from within and not from people around you and materialistic things you own. A person with nothing can still have the brightest smile. Everything around does contribute, but it is a sensational pleasure, and it will not stick around for a long time.

Always Look at the Positive Side of Life

But how do you stay happy just like that, you may ask. My answer is simple, you have reasons to be extremely happy for, the life you live is the dream of millions and live in the moment, the past is a shadow and will stay by you, and the future is a beam of light that is blindly, and between light and shadow, only the present makes sense. Live in it, plan for what is coming, and learn from what floated by, but do not dwell on it, be a free soul that relies on nothing but can be relied on.
